Semum

Canan (Ayça İnci) and her husband Volkan (Burak Hakkı) move into a new home in İzmir, Turkey, hoping for a quiet, peaceful life. Hasan Karacadağ, who also wrote the film, builds it from what is reportedly the true story of a woman from that city. Down in a pitch-black pit, Semum fixes on Canan, and she starts changing into a creature that is no longer human.
