Yu (Aoi Miyazaki) is a teenager who falls for a quiet classmate named Yosuke (Eita Nagayama), and the two grow close in adolescence. Then tragedy breaks them apart, and the film jumps ahead to find them as adults, with Yosuke (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and Yu (Hiromi Nagasaku) both changed in ways neither expected. Hiroshi Ishikawa keeps the camera patient and plain, giving the memory of that first attachment room to sit beside who they have become.
