Successor

Ma Chenggang (Shen Teng) and his wife Chunlan (Ma Li) are rich enough to give their son everything, but they decide to give him nothing instead. They hide their wealth and put their boy Ma Jiye (Shi Pengyuan) through a test of survival and self-reliance, believing hardship will forge him into a worthy heir.
