Summer Beats

Shaï (Shirel Nataf) and Djeneba (Fanta Kebe) arrive at a summer camp in the Drôme to lead activities, but distance has grown between them since their days in Paris. The camp fills with kids and routines, the heat settling over everything as the two move through their days. Gueret and Akoka catch the small silences and sideways glances, letting the camera linger on dust in sunlight and the particular ache of friendships changing shape.
