Tarzan and His Mate

Tarzan (Johnny Weissmüller) lives in the African jungle with Jane Parker (Maureen O'Sullivan), the woman who chose to stay with him rather than return to England. Their quiet is interrupted when Harry Holt (Neil Hamilton) comes back with his friend Martin Arlington (Paul Cavanagh) to lead a large ivory expedition. Cedric Gibbons directs the pre-Code adventure, and the story rests on what holds Jane to Tarzan and what the visitors offer her.
