The 4th Wall

In Beirut, 1982, theater director Georges (Laurent Lafitte) arrives to stage Antigone on the front line, casting actors from warring factions in a fragile bid for peace. Marwan (Simon Abkarian) navigates him through the fractured city while Georges grows close to Imane (Manal Issa), an actress caught between the play's ideals and the war's brutality. As fighting intensifies, Georges discovers that staging art in the midst of violence costs more than he imagined.
