The Adventures of Buratino

Buratino (Nina Gulyayeva) is a wooden boy, newly carved, who has to work out where he belongs in the world. He makes friends among the puppets of a toy theater owned by the cruel Karabas-Barabas, and gets taken in by Alice the Fox and Basilio the Cat. Ivanov-Vano and Babichenko adapt Tolstoy's tale of a golden key from Tortila the Tortoise, a story about a boy learning who to trust.
