The Ballad of Davy Crockett

Davy Crockett (William Moseley) is a man of the frontier whose wife has fallen gravely ill, leaving his young children vulnerable and alone. He must cross the savage lands back to them, fighting through the perils of the wild frontier with only his wits and will. Derek Estlin Purvis shoots the journey in kinetic bursts, the landscape sun-bleached and hostile, every frame pushing Crockett forward.
