The Boys of Paul Street

Directed by Zoltán Fábri110 minFamily, Drama

“The most extraordinary battle ever fought by the bravest army that ever had to be home for dinner.”

Synopsis

Why would a vacant lot in turn-of-the-century Budapest be worth a war between two gangs of boys? The Red Shirts want the Paul Street Boys gone from it, and they send small, sickly Ernő Nemecsek (Anthony Kemp) to spy on the other side. Zoltán Fábri follows Nemecsek into the enemy camp, where this slight boy has to carry out a job nobody else would take.
