The Death of Louis XIV

In August 1715, Louis XIV (Jean-Pierre Léaud) comes back from a walk with a pain in his leg, and nobody around him can say what it is. Albert Serra keeps to the king's bedchamber as the fever sets in, with the physician Fagon (Patrick d'Assumçao) and the valet Blouin (Marc Susini) hovering close. The king still receives his visitors and attends to his duties, though he eats less each day and weakens.
