The Dog Stars

“At the end of the world, no one survives alone.”

Hig (Jacob Elordi) and Bangley (Josh Brolin) have survived the flu that emptied the world, living in rural Colorado with an old pilot named Pops (Guy Pearce). Hig wants to know if anyone else is alive beyond their small radius of sky. When he finds Cima (Margaret Qualley), he has to choose between the life he knows and the person who might give it back meaning. Scott builds the wasteland in long takes and silence, letting the vastness press down on every choice.
