“Why fit in when you can dance to your own beat?”

Synopsis

Toni (Royalty Hightower) is eleven, spends her afternoons training in a boxing gym, and wants to belong to the girls' dance troupe practicing down the hall. Anna Rose Holmer, in her first feature, watches her climb in with the older girls like Beezy (Alexis Neblett) while the group starts to fall to fainting spells and violent fits. Toni keeps learning the steps and keeps her mouth shut, trying to make herself fit.
