The Great Journey
Why does an old man who trusts no plane insist that his son drive him to Mecca? Reda (Nicolas Cazalé) is studying for his baccalaureat and keeping a girlfriend secret, but he takes the wheel of the family's broken-down car anyway. Ismaël Ferroukhi sets the two of them on the road across Europe, the father (Mohamed Majd) upright in the passenger seat, the son gripping the wheel.
