The Heart Knows

Manuel, a man recovering from heart transplant surgery, begins to notice shifts in his own tastes and impulses that feel foreign to him. He becomes drawn to the life of his donor, a thread that leads him to Vale, a widow living in a close-knit community. Carnevale builds the film around small gestures and quiet conversations, letting the mystery of what the heart carries move beneath the surface.
