“Family is worth dying for.”

Leonard (Iain Glen) is a widower farmer in Belgium when the German army sweeps across his country in 1914, scattering his life into chaos. He is pulled into the violence alongside Louise (Sasha Luss) and others caught between advancing troops and the scramble to survive. What begins as an ordinary man trying to protect his family becomes an act of war, and the cost cuts deeper than he knew.
