The Love Hypothesis

“Fake dating. Real chemistry.”

Olive Smith (Lili Reinhart), a PhD student, needs people to stop pitying her love life, so she claims to be dating Dr. Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman), a distant professor. Adam agrees to the ruse, and the two begin testing their own theories about romance while navigating dinners with her friends and his family. By the end, they're standing in the rain outside his apartment, both of them soaked and grinning, finally understanding what was real all along.
