The Mystery of Oberwald
“If you don't kill me, I'll kill you”
A stranger breaks into a castle to kill the Queen (Monica Vitti), and then hesitates. He is Sebastian (Franco Branciaroli), a man who looks like the assassinated King, and she is still in mourning. Antonioni adapted Cocteau's play for television, and the Count of Foehn (Paolo Bonacelli) watches from the edges as the hesitation turns into a dare between the two of them.
