The Orphans

Gabriel and Driss were inseparable at the orphanage until life split them apart: one became a cop, the other a fixer for organized crime. When their shared first love dies in what looks like an accident, her seventeen-year-old daughter Leïla steals Gabriel's gun and hunts the people responsible. Schneider builds the chase with sharp cuts and overlapping dialogue, the frame always moving, three people locked in a sprint toward violence.
