The Silent Service: The Battle of Arctic Ocean

The Yamato, a Japanese nuclear submarine, descends into the freezing Arctic waters bound for the UN headquarters in New York. In the Bering Strait, an American submarine emerges from the dark, vastly larger and already closing the distance. Commander Shiro Kaieda (Takao Osawa) and his crew face an opponent they cannot outrun or outgun, learning that survival sometimes means accepting what you cannot control.
