The Time It Takes

Francesca (Romana Maggiora Vergano) and Luigi (Fabrizio Gifuni) are raising their young daughter, also named Francesca (Anna Mangiocavallo). When their son Clemente (Luca Donini) falls ill, the household tilts toward crisis, and the parents begin to fracture under the weight of what might be lost. Comencini watches them move through each day knowing that time, which felt infinite before, is now the thing they cannot buy back.
