The Trouble with Harry

Directed by Alfred Hitchcock99 min · PGComedy, Mystery

“A different kind of kick-the-bucket comedy!”

Synopsis

Captain Wiles (Edmund Gwenn), a retired seaman in a quiet Vermont village, finds a dead man in the woods and decides he must have shot him by accident while hunting rabbits. Soon the neighbors, among them Miss Gravely (Mildred Natwick) and Jennifer Rogers (Shirley MacLaine), each believe they had a hand in it. Hitchcock sets the whole business in Technicolor autumn, red and gold leaves around a body nobody will leave alone.
