The Walking Hills

Jim Carey (Randolph Scott) is a man who knows a legend about a shipment of gold buried somewhere in Death Valley, and he is not the only one who has heard it. Nine men set out after the treasure, among them a detective tracking a fugitive, several others with things to hide, and Chris Jackson (Ella Raines), who has history with two of them. John Sturges puts the whole party under the same white sun, and Jim has to work out who he is walking next to.
