The Wings
The sculptor Claude Zoret (Egil Eide) has made his name on a statue of his model and lover Eugène Mikael (Lars Hanson), who poses for him as Icarus. Then Lucia de Zamikow (Lili Beck), a countess with her own designs on the young man, begins to work her way between the two of them. Mauritz Stiller adapted Herman Bang's novel, and the print that survives is missing nineteen minutes of its running time.
