The Woman from Nowhere
A woman of fifty (Ève Francis), scarred by years of disillusionment and regret, goes back to the place where she lived twenty years before, hoping to find some happier memory of it. There she meets a young woman (Gine Avril), the daughter of the house's current owners, who is about to walk out on her home exactly as the visitor once did. Louis Delluc sets the two women face to face, and each sees in the other the person she was or is about to become.
