Those Who Remained

Körner Aladár (Károly Hajduk) is a doctor who survived the Holocaust and went home without his wife or his two young boys, and he wants only to get through the days. Then Klára (Abigél Szőke), a teenage girl who lost her parents and little sister, comes into his life, and Barnabás Tóth watches the two of them settle into the roles of father and daughter. Each knows exactly how empty the other is, and the people around them do not understand why they stay.
