Maren (Sandra Hüller) is a woman caught between worlds after the Berlin Wall falls, watching the currency she knows become obsolete overnight. When she and her family uncover a bunker full of East German marks, they recruit their neighbors in a frantic scheme to spend the money before it loses all value. The clock is ticking, and everyone's scrambling to grab a piece of the new world before the door closes forever.
