Verity

“There is no light where we're going.”

A ghostwriter named Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson) moves into the home of novelist Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) to complete her unfinished manuscript while Verity lies in a coma upstairs. As Lowen reads deeper into the pages, she discovers confessions that don't match the public story of the family's tragedy. Michael Showalter builds the frame so that doubt spreads like a stain, each new page a reason to distrust what came before.
