In Nazareth, a few days before his sister Amal's (Maria Zreik) wedding, custom says the invitations must be handed over in person. Shadi (Saleh Bakri) flies home from Italy to do it alongside his father, Abu Shadi (Mohammad Bakri), and the two spend the days in a car, mostly stuck in traffic. Annemarie Jacir keeps them side by side on those drives, and what passes between the two men is mostly left unsaid.
