Remedios Buendía (Carmen Machi) wakes in a Madrid hotel room with no memory of the previous night and a dead man on the floor. She flees into the streets with four strangers, each pulled into her predicament by accident or circumstance. Clara Bilbao shoots the city in cool, flat light and lets the group's fractured conversations carry them through the dark hours, deadpan and adrift.
