Ling (Yeo Yann Yann) is a Chinese teacher in Singapore who wants a child, and her marriage has not given her one. Anthony Chen puts her in remedial classes with Kok Wei Lun (Koh Jia Ler), a student who starts to hold on to her attention, and each lesson risks more than a grade.
