Wild Diamond

Liane (Malou Khebizi), nineteen, auditions for the reality show "Miracle Island" after a life of dust and heat in Fréjus, on the south coast of France. She shares a home with her mother and little sister, and she is certain that being seen is the only way to become someone. Agathe Riedinger, directing her first feature, stays close on Khebizi's face and keeps the summer light hard and bright.
