The award-winning director Mohammadhossein Latifi (محمدحسین لطیفی), born in 1962 in Tehran, began his artistic path with painting and sculpting before he specialized in animation. He calls himself an impressionist and was a member of the audiovisual animation division of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
