Mexican television and theater actress Montserrat Marañón studied Dramatic Literature and Theater at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters UNAM in Mexico City. She received the 2005-2006 FONCA scholarship in the category of Cabaret Performers, with which she was able to create the play Memorias de un géiser.
